Covid 19 Precautions
The Multinational School is committed to providing a safe environment for students, faculty and the community.
The school will follow Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and WHO guidelines.
To make sure that this happens we are focusing on three strategies: a thorough cleaning regime, social distancing and personal well-being.
Cleaning
- All classrooms are disinfected daily
- All public spaces within the school are disinfected multiple times throughout the day
- Extra cleaning staff have been employed
- In the weekend the school is sanitized
Social Distancing
- We are very lucky that we are a small school on a large campus which reduces possible rates of contamination
- Classrooms will have comparatively few students
- Break times will be staggered
- During this time we will not be having student assemblies or sports events
Personal Well-Being
- Throughout the school we have sanitizer stations, teachers will train and monitor the use of these by the students
- Teachers will demonstrate correct hand washing procedures
- The school will insist that students who are unwell must be kept at home
- Separate stationery for each student to be kept at school
- Random temperature checks carried out daily on students
- At security all adults and children will be temperature checked
- Adults entering the school grounds will need to be masked
- We have clear procedures to follow if a child becomes unwell during the school day
- The counsellor will be available to meet students who may feel anxious
- The school nurse will communicate to faculty, students and parents signs to look out for
- The counsellor will work with classes to help students understand what is happening and how to stay safe
